Terms of Business

1.	Taxation.  All business is conducted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom,
	the Kingdom of Norway and the Federal Republic of Germany and the respective Bilateral
	Dual Taxation Treaties. All accounts are payable in the Country in which the Service was provided.

2.	Accounts. All accounts are payable in full within fourteen days of receipt of a valid invoice or
	as agreed in writing: all accounts will be in Euros.

3.	English Language Training. All Language Training through Language Communication Services (LCS)
	and Digital Publishing (DP) is payable in accordance with the terms agreed with the
	respective firms. No private training will be provided for firms with Training Contracts with LCS
	or DP. Policy may only be discussed with LCS or DP directly.

4.	Leadership in English Training. All English Training is carried out in periods of 45 minutes,
	normally 2 or 3 consecutively either at the Client’s home, workplace or in Simbach bei Landau
 	as mutually agreed. Travel above 50 km single journey will normally be charged at 30c per Km
	unless otherwise agreed. Depending on complexity and content, the normal charge is from
	€30 to €40 per period. 

5.	Cancellation. All periods cancelled at less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
	Exceptions are acceptable in the event of Force Majeur.

6.	Website English. Work will be charged at the rate of €90 per hour or as agreed
	for a fixed price contract.

7.	Life Skills Coaching. Coaching is charged at the rate of €90 per hour, or as agreed,
	in the Client’s home, workplace, in Simbach or on board Yacht Northern Light.

8.	Adventurous Sailing. All sailing is carried out on board the British Registered Yacht
	Northern Light in Norwegian waters based in Stavanger, Norway. Life Skills Training, Leadership
	Training and English Training together with sailing skills will be combined as required.
	The Yacht facilities are available at a charging rate of €700 per berth per seven-day week
	or pro rata. Food costs and harbour dues are divided equally amongst all on board. 20% deposit
	is payable on booking and the balance is to be paid in full not less than 7 working days before
	sailing starts. Clients are advised to take out travel insurance to cover cancellation and
	suitable medical insurance. All pre-existing medical conditions must be notified.

9.	Disclaimer.  All training is provided with integrity and good will nevertheless all Clients
	are responsible for ensuring that all relevant personal insurances are commensurate with the
	risks for which training is requested. At sea, all safety instructions by the Skipper are to
	be followed in accordance with UK and Norwegian maritime law to ensure the safety of the crew
	and vessel. Any Client who wilfully endangers him or herself or others at sea or in harbour will
	be put ashore at the earliest practicable opportunity and be responsible for getting home
	at their own cost.
